Learn MoreElena's teaching style can be described as a blend of a variety of yoga traditions - ranging from dynamic Vinyasa and empowering Hatha yoga to soothing Slow Flow and Restorative practices. With modifications, progressions and detailed explanations provided by Elena in every class, she can cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
In Lisa's classes, she emphasizes correct sequencing and alignment, enabling students to move safely through postures. There is a blend of flexibility, strength, and balance poses, along with detailed instructions on how to use the breath to move mindfully into and out of postures. Students are guided through each of the poses from beginner to intermediate level, with an option to move into a more advanced level. Verbal modifications are given for different needs, conditions, and abilities. With this information, students can practice postures in the way that best benefits them.
In Kimberly's classes, she loves to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. She seeks to help others thrive by nurturing body, mind, and soul. Her hope is that you step off your mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. Vinyasa flow classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike
In any of her classes whether it's Vinyasa power, gentle yoga, or Yin yoga it is important to her to create and build connections with each student who comes into her classes, so that each person feels seen and acknowledged, and she can create quality classes that are of service.
